Valuview Embossed Series – Owing to its high clarity and visible light transmission rate amongst plastic materials, are the most widely used glazing material on roofings, skylights, greenhouses and wall claddings.

VULCAN Solid EMBOSSED polycarbonate flat sheeting, which is categorized within the polycarbonate flat sheeting category, but differs in that it has an embossed, or some may call, a frosted surface. It has all the properties of standard Solid Flat sheets but with additional light-diffusing features.

Embossed textures target users requiring softened, indirect light exposure and is most often used as interior wall claddings, windows, or skylights.

There are two ways to create a fuzzy or diffused effect on polycarbonate sheets - chemically or physically.  The chemical way is achieved by adding light diffusing material such as LiteGuide.  The physical way to create an irregular surface texture is with the help of an extrusion die.  Though both methods can diffuse lighting and creates a soft lighting effect underneath the covered area.

In addition, an embossed surface will look more matte as opposed to the glossy surface of LiteGuide sheets, which all comes down to personal preference when choosing light-diffusing polycarbonate sheets.

VULCAN Valuview come in 6 standard colors and fully customizable in size and length to meet your requirements.  Special colors can also be produced upon request.

For example, ROMA Valuview clear sheets is the most popular of all the clear corrugated roofing sheet we offer, with its transparency offering high visible light and solar transmission identical to standard clear glass, but at almost half the weight and 250 times its strength.

All VULCAN polycarbonate sheets carrying the Valuview name use 100% Virgin UV stabilized Covestro resin.  As an added option, sheets can be co-extruded with Clariant CESA-Light UV and Light Stabilizers for extended lifespan and added protection against light transmission losses and yellowing caused by excessive exposure to solar radiation.
